A lot happens as your child prepares for and celebrates his or her bar/bat mitzvah.

And it happens so fast.

You want more than posed photos of your child reading the torah or standing with family and the rabbi.

You want to be able to look back at photos and see your child’s joy and excitement, their anticipation and the confidence, their hesitations and commitments, their blossoming personality, and the love of friends and family being poured out upon them.

Let’s set up a time for a phone call

The quickest and most practical way to make sure we’re a good fit is for us to get on the phone.

There are not enough words to express how happy I am with Cindy’s work. After having a less than satisfying experience with my older son’s Bar Mitzvah photography, I found Cindy to photograph my younger son’s Bar Mitzvah. I was drawn to her because I absolutely loved the photos on her webpage. And let me say, her photos were even BETTER (and will be for you too) when they were photos of our family and friends and all the people we love. Cindy has a laid-back style and never once did she feel intrusive. Apart from the few intentionally posed photos that we wanted, none of the photos were staged. Cindy is just gifted at capturing real human emotion, and we will treasure her photos forever! I cannot wait to hire her again to do some professional work for me, and I would recommend her a million times over.

From the simplest to the most elaborate, I will capture the joy and excitement of the your child’s passage into “adulthood” in surprisingly delightful photographs.I bring my experience as a news photographer, the story-telling skills of a photojournalist, the honesty of a documentary photographer, and the quirkiness of a street photographer to Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs, B’nai and B’not Mitzvahs .

The day of the event, I will capture the pride, fun and memorable moments with an unobtrusive presence that puts everyone at ease. As an international award-winning documentary-style event photography, I have developed the ability to perfectly balance the fun and the significance of a Mitzvah.
