Atlanta Dream Teams Up with Lions to Help LeaderDogs for the Blind
The Atlanta Lions Club located in downtown Atlanta and the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream will be supporting the Leader Dogs for the Blind during the June 26th, 2011 game versus the WNBA’s San Antonio Silver Spurs at Phillips Arena. Proceeds equaling 50% from ticket sales generated by the Lions Clubs of Georgia will be donated to Leader Dogs for the Blind and will be presented to the Atlanta Lions Club during the game. This is the first time that Lions have joined forces with the WNBA and both the Atlanta Dream and the Atlanta Lions Club hope that it will be the beginning of many future collaborations in support of Lions International charities. Tickets for the game may be purchased by visiting www.atlantalions.org. Buy a block of 10, 20 or a 100 (or just 1 or 2) tickets, enjoy a great game, support your local women's basketball team AND help the folks at LeaderDogs for the Blind continue to provide needed support for the seeing-impaired.
Hope to see you at the game. I'll be courtside and in the crowd and in the VIP box snapping away.
